This 28th January, come and experience a magical celebration of the Lunar New Year at Holiday Inn Resort Samui, as we welcome the Year of the Snake! Designed with families in mind, The Dragon Warrior Circus Night offers a fantastic mix of cultural experiences, delicious food, and interactive activities—perfect for both adults and children. Whether you're visiting Koh Samui for the first time or returning for another adventure, this event promises to create lasting memories for you and your family.

A Feast of Authentic Asian Flavours

No celebration is complete without exceptional food, and our talented Chef Toh Pongsakorn Laopakdee and his team have prepared a special Lunar New Year menu that will tantalise your taste buds with the very best of Asian cuisine. The highlights of the evening’s feast include:

Salmon Yu Sheng

• Yu Sheng (鱼生), also known as Lo Hei (捞起), is a traditional Chinese dish and cultural practice popular in Malaysia, Singapore, and parts of Southeast Asia. It is especially prominent during Lunar New Year celebrations, symbolizing prosperity, good fortune, and abundance for the coming year. The most exciting part is the Prosperity Toss, or "Lo Hei," where guests gather around the platter to toss the ingredients together using chopsticks. During the tossing, auspicious phrases are enthusiastically shouted, wishing for success, happiness, and wealth.

• Beijing Roasted Duck: A true classic, this tender, crispy duck is a beloved dish in Chinese cuisine, offering a taste of authentic Beijing flavour.

• Hong Kong Crispy Pork: Savour the delicious, crunchy exterior and tender interior of this much-loved Hong Kong dish—a sure hit with both children and adults.

These dishes offer a delightful introduction to the diverse and rich flavours of Asia, making for an unforgettable culinary experience.

The Dragon Warrior Circus Night: Family Fun for All Ages

Inspired by the magical world of Kung Fu Panda, The Dragon Warrior Circus Night combines the excitement of Western circus acts with the vibrant spirit of Asian culture. This family-friendly event has been designed with fun, creativity, and cultural learning in mind, so both children and adults can enjoy the festivities together.

For the Little Ones:

• Dance with Sammy, the Monkey Mascot: Sammy, our adorable monkey mascot, will lead kids in a fun, interactive dance session that’ll get everyone moving to the rhythm of the celebration.

• Circus Fun: Children can try their hand at classic circus activities like plate spinning, juggling, and dragon poi tricks. With the help of the Samui Circus Team, they’ll learn circus skills in a fun and engaging way.

• Bubble Play: Kids will be enchanted by a magical bubble experience, where they can chase, pop, and play with bubbles in a whimsical, carefree environment.
